Our first
guest at Cantre Selyf was a Production Designer for the BBC who
had chosen the alley in front of the house as the location for
a scene in an historic drama called Drovers Gold.
She placed
a very authentic looking sign over our front door which read:

The sentiments
of which we would like to think are as appropriate to Cantre Selyf
today as they would have been 150 years ago.
Lion Street
was transformed into an early 19th century market. When the cast
arrived in their costumes the feeling of being caught in a time
warp was complete.
